Oregonians in Action Legal Center (OIA-LC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. It engages in litigating property rights and land use regulatory issues in "test cases" involving "regulatory takings" (where regulations deny landowners the use and value of their land without paying compensation to the owners in violation of the U.S. and Oregon Constitutions). The Legal Center selects cases based on their potential for providing significant precedents. It provides legal services without charge to the landowner involved. OIA-LC is an IRS 501 (c)(3) corporation; contributions to it are generally deductible as charitable contributions on income tax returns.
